The Channel Tunnel Rail Link crosses the A1090, Thurrock Marshes, the London Tilbury Southend Railway, a LaFarge Access bridge, the northbound Dartford Tunnel exit and underneath the Queen Elizabeth Bridge by way of a 1km long incrementally launched prestressed concrete viaduct.

Checks included major bored piles in high strength low density chalk, pilecaps tight against the LTS rail corridor and sequential time dependent analysis of the
23no 45m long segments during the launching and prestressing sequence.
