Over 200m of piled quay wall regenerate derelict industrial waterfront to create an 8,500m site with elevated river walkway, amphitheatre and river access. Piles driven in intersecting arcs create visual interest.  Tony Gee's input was to design a mix of ground anchor and gravity tie backs with installation sequence.  Constraints were to minimise excavation of contaminated material and optimise use of the complex curved geometry of the wall to use linked tie back arrangements.

Funding by Medway Council, SRB and English Partnerships led to an imaginative scheme winning an ICE Merit Award.
