A large area of derelict land is to be regenerated for housing and leisure.  In order to achieve the maximum land usage a retaining wall was required to the Ely River and bay frontage to raise ground levels by up to 5m.

Tony Gee developed a winning Design and Build tender design for Taylor Woodrow for the 1.5km of sheetpile wall, using a tied wall with tubular anchor piles in difficult ground conditions.
