Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Esher

 

Based in the Esher Head Office in Surrey, Tony Gee’s Geotechnical Group is currently seeking a Principal Geotechnical engineer who must be a chartered civil engineer, and experienced in the design of deep foundations, basements, retaining walls and earthworks.

It would be highly beneficial if the candidate has experience of numerical modelling and in particular with PLAXIS. The successful candidate would lead projects and participate in the managerial and technical aspects of the business.

It is expected that the candidate will be a civil/structural engineer who has at least 15 years of experience in general geotechnical engineering and foundations design. Experience of working with both consultants and contractors would be desirable.

The candidate must be a chartered engineer and should be recognised within the field of geotechnical either through his publications or through his participation on various external working parties/committees.

The candidate should also be able to demonstrate a track record with business development and client care.
